| Finally decided to balance all of my combos and was wondering what rod balancers are used for this purpose. I have seen what is available from Bass Pro Shops, but I have one combo that has a larger diameter handle being custon made and I don't think the Bass Pro product will work. Are there any other options out there? |

| also do these thing 'bleed' color all over you,,I had more then one person tell me that they bleed black all over your clothes when they make contact,,or at least there was a certain brand that did that |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | I own probably 20 balancers and have never had one "bleed". If you are worried about it, clean it with glass cleaner before use. |

Location: Indiana | If the BPS balancers dont fit, here is a non-intrusive way that works well and if done carefully look good.

| I have built and weighted many rods. The bass pro balancers do not bleed.
You have a couple of options.
1: Pop off the butt cap of the rod and epoxy lead egg sinkers inside the blank. ( I have someone poor me tapered lead weights that I use when building rods)
2: You are able to use the bass pro system on even larger diameter cork, however, you must sand down the the OD of the back of the rear grip so that the rod balancer fits snug.
I have done both of these numerous times and they both work well.
