Location: nappanee IN | looking for advice on a good st croix to use instead of the xxxh. thinking about the 8-6 xhf, would this work better for jerks and cranks and still be able to throw big suzies and dawgs? any body want to trade? |

Location: Smith Creek | I'm not crazy about the XHF for cranks but it works great for big rubber and jerk baits and big blades. St. Croix will give you top dollar for your xxx if you're willing to upgrade to the Legend Tournament.

Location: Oshkosh | The XHF Legend Tournament is an awesome rod for what you are looking for. I would look into the St. Croix upgrade program.

| in my opinion, the legend tourny big dawg xhf is exactly that, an awesome rod. i throw everything with it. the only way i would consider trading / selling it is if these "other" manufacturers would like to send me their "comparable versions" for free i would certainly test them against the croix and may the best rod win!

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | I love the premier 8'6" xhf so well that I bought two of them. I throw everything from cranks, gliders, topwater, plastics, and even troll with it (use musky baits with the spoonplugging method). |

Location: 15 miles east of Lake Kinkaid | I agree with RyanJoz....I bought the 8'6" XH and it is a great rod. It throws mag and pounders very well and has the balls to get the hooks in fish. |
