Location: NW WI | North American Propeller in Wausau WI is a very popular place to have props sent to for repairs. They also sell refurb's props at great prices. I had a SS prop reworked there and they also repaired a broken skeg for me. Nice people and fair prices.

They've butchered props from EVERYONE I know. The last one I brought in was a Tempest that needed just a quick touch-up. I went from doing 70+ to 62mph. When I brought it to their attention they didn't believe my boat was going that fast to begin with. I sent it to Mark at BBC and he said there was nothing he could do because someone ground off some material and shined it up. Ask Turgeon about his experiences if you don't believe me.
Also, don't let them touch your lower unit, but that's another story... |
