| 5 pack of those cheap brown gloves. when they get wet, change gloves. Even wet they are still warmer than nothing.

| for casting, nothing i've tried beats Glacier Glove premiums with the fleece lining. there is a huge difference between cheapo neoprene and the good stuff. the key is to get a pair that fits snugly, put them on at the start of the day so they warm up, and then keep them on. if you take them off, they get cold and stiff. http://www.glacieroutdoor.com/products_fishing.php
for trolling or drifting suckers, i favor leather choppers with wool gloves inside to keep the wind off.
and either way, if it's really really cold, i like the ThermaCare HeatWraps on my lower back and hands...puts heat across your kidneys and wrists and helps keep your blood warm which means you're muchy more comfortable. they're not particularly cheap, but there's only a couple days each year when it's that bad out, so why be cold? http://thermacare.com/home.aspx

Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | I just got some of the Cabela's Camoskinz. They are sweet. A little tough to get on when hands are damp, but they are awesome! |
