Posts: 41 Location: Oregon, IL | After sending the pics to my brother in law he said that looks like the same fish you caught last year. I never even thought to check because the fish last year had some major eye tamua. The eye has healed up real nice but the three scars on the side of the fish are still there. The fish is slightly lighter in color this year and not as thick as last year. Check out the markings near my right hand. Last year I caught it at the end of October this year it was caught 2 weeks earlier. I caught it about a 100 yards from the spot I caught it last year. The only thing that has me second guessing myself is the measurment. It actually measured shorter this year by about an inch. Last year it was taped, this year it was measured on a bumpboard. Posts: 1663 Location: Kodiak, AK | Man, looks like same fish to me. The marks by your right hand, and marks along the belly line match up perfectly. Wow, very cool. Glad to see the eye thing didn't mess her up.

| Yep, same fish. And another example of a screwed me measurement on a tape and how measuring a fish with a bump board is by far the best. | |||

Posts: 2024 | Yep. Same fish. There are four dots on the belly between the pelvic and pectoral fins that match-up in both photos. Also some bars/spots near the anal fin. Nice jacket in the first pic

Posts: 785 | sweet deal. Def same fish. I measured 3 fish one time out all with a measuring stick in the net then on a bump board in the boat. All fish measured 1" -1 1/2" longer on the board, they were a 46, 46.5, and a 47. I only use a board now for measuring fish. Nice work on identifing it being the same! awesome!
