Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | I took a father and high school aged son out on Pewaukee on Saturday morning. Both had just gotten into muskie fishing this summer. It was tough sledding until the wind picked up and it started snowing. Then in short order we saw 6 including one in the mid 40's , but the son was dressed more for August than for a snowy day in October and we had to go in. Global Warming has definitely kicked in! Posts: 134 | About 14 hours of dragging suckers around this weekend in Oneida Co. 21 degree air temps and a quarter inch of snow in the boat by 8:00 in the morning. Not a hit all weekend and totally insane. So insane I'm going to do all over again this weekend.

Posts: 1061 Location: Medford, WI | This past weekend was a rough one...weatherwise anyways. We ended up with one 42" on a Curly Sue and one more about the same size following a Sue. Had a sucker out the whole while, but never got any rips. Fished a clearer water Saturday all day and darker water on Sunday for 1/4 day. Headed back up to Vilas this weekend camping and fishing...hoping to get a fall livebait segment for our video. I should mention the 42 we got was verrry healthy - full of ciscos/suckers. -Jake Bucki

Posts: 19 | 2 small ones (22", 33") on Friday night, 4 follows and losing the biggest fish I've seen since 2007 on Sunday. Had it on a sucker but it wrapped around the line and rolled, and off it went.
