The glider is 5" and is painted by hand. The crank is 8" and is unfinished. I think I will just leave it the natural color and topcoat it. I definitely need to invest in an airbrush kit.

What do you think?

Good design, and the paint job would be stellar if air brushed, you know what a lure needs to look like. I'd put a size larger hook on the Gill glider, myself. Get a fish on the lures and send us the pictures!

Yeah, I've got 2/0 on the glider and 3/0 on the crank. Thanks!

I do not think the fish will care how well or not the bait is painted. looks pretty cool actually. I was going to say what Steve said about the hooks on the glider, do upsize them. The crankbait should twitch really well with that lip angle. Not many baits have them like that and the ones that do are fantastic.

Well here is the first fish landed on one of my lures. It is a small fish from a small stream.

You will notice that each one gets a little better. It takes time and patience. Keep up the good work. Your first lures look just like mine did. Kingfisher
