What are your opinions on a comeback lure for fish that you have raised? I had a big fish follow up this weekend on a DCG, then came back at her with a Salmo and had the same result. She came up but would not take, I also royally messed up with her and not paying attention, I made my "L" and was talking to my brother, and looked down as I had the lure out of the water and in mid cast saw her "looking" at me as to say " that looked good!" I never saw her again that day. What else is a "go to" bait as a comeback lure?

The same lure you brought her up on the first time...just faster or sometimes slower then smoking around the figure 8. Use the same bait

I second Mike's comment. I also like to throw jigs/tubes if that doesn't work.
