Dealer has a new 08' 620 - I first looked @ this boat almost 2 years ago - they still have it. It has all the bells and whistles Merc 250XS and 9.9 pro ... originally was listed @ 55K .....How much is it worth now?

imo way too many sweet deals on used 620s out there to ever buy new...you are going to drive it off the lot and lose at minimum 5-8k...take a look and see what is out there...there is an 09 with 250xs and kicker and other stuff for 44...the boat is new you are looking at despite being 2 yrs old...imo it won't sell for much less than 46
make the guy an offer and you will find out pretty quick what he needs or wants to get out of it....

Brad,

I agree - however want to trade and having full motor warranty is important to me - Looking to keep the boat for a long time and I've never bought new have to do it once

Go to NADA and get the boat value. It will give you an idea of what you could sell it for used. In my opinion it is worth not much more than that.

A few years ago I purchased my boat that was 2 years old and still new. I think you may be surprised at what kind of deal you can get, I know I was. You have to figure that every month that dealer is sitting on that boat it is costing them money. Also at this time of year, slower for boat sales than spring, they are looking at the possibility of hanging onto it for another year, and selling a 3 year old boat. This all helps you negotiating a price. You have to try to figure what you think they have in it, make a low ball offer, and be able to walk away. My case, I made a low offer, they seemed insulted, I left, and they called me three times the next day and kept coming down and throwing some things in. I ended coming up a bit on my offer, but a very small amount in comparison to what they moved and threw in. The warranties and having it new was a big plus for me also.

Best of luck
