| Was just asked to fish the HMC with a guy but last I heard only lake groups open were Pelican and Boom. IMHO Boom would be ok but I don't care to fish Pelican. Personally, I would rather fish any of the other groups but I heard they are full. Is it true, just Pelican and boom left? |

| I'll take your Moens spot and you can have Pelican. I have spent plenty of time on that lake and have seen noda. No doubt there are some monsters in there but in my opinion they are few and far between. Without a doubt that lake is not what it used to be. Also I would not say your chance at a 45 is not good, I would say it is as good as any on Moens. That chain produces some big fish.

Posts: 537 Location: Gilberts IL/Rhinelander WI | Uh... no thanks. Moen is my home lake.Your'e right, Some big fish have come out of there this year already. Still think you have a good shot out at Pelican. Out on Moens it will just be a rotation of boats on the same spots. Here's hoping the window gets cracked open on my turn. Good luck. Brad |

| I was told weeks ago(when I might have been able to get off work) that the only families available were Boom and Pelican. 3 phone calls to the chamber and the same answer. Now spots are available???? |
