Location: Chicago | so were suppouse to be leaving for eagle on monday, 09/21. considering the indian summer going on up there we are considering moving the trip back to the october 16th week as we can do it. were about 50/50 right now and its probably a gamble either way. sounds like its been august weather with the water temps being upper 60's/low 70's and air temp warmer with a cold front coming through early next week. initially we were expecting cold weather and sucker fishing, now were thinking we'll be casting weeds..which isn't bad but...guess its not a bad problem to have. what do you guys think? never been up there that late myself. is it worth it for the size? numbers? |

| Given any choice I would think you would prefer a casting bite, and that initial drop really gets fish moving if it has been warm. |
