| Hello everybody! This fall we have a couple family members joining us for a muskie trip to the Hayward area. We are going up mid-October and they don’t have the drive to throw big rubber or big baits like my dad and I do. Anyone have any suggestions for smaller, easy-working baits in the fall I could tell them. I’ve had luck when I was younger with mini bull dawgs but looking for suggestions to have them enjoy their time while not getting exhausted! Thanks! |

| all the plastic from water wolf from tube to shadzilla and rover baits new giants will be awesome for sure. ive just made a few test,and they still swim like the smaller which is very unique.it move like a drunken jake |

| Try twitch'in smaller sized minnow baits. SS shad raps are my favorite bait to throw when I get tired using the bigger baits. Kdawg |

| Rapala's salt water X-rap only weights in at 1.5 oz and is a great jerkbait for Esox of all types. Runs 4' - 6' on the cast. Even though it appears to run nice as a crankbait never got a bite with straight retrieve. |

I think it's legal to throw them after August now in WI but you might want to check.

| A paddletail swimBait is killer in Fall and easy to cast and fish.
That would be my first choice for a rookie - shadzilla, Swimmn Dawg, Poseidon... |
