Posts: 15 | What a beauty! congratulations! Not to out do your catch, but has anyone heard of this 53" tiger caught in N. Wisconsin by a Walleye guide? I heard some buzz about it when I was in the Hayward area. It was released and is going to be a release line class record. I guess it was caught on 6 lb or something ridiculous like that! Joe

Joe I saw the pictures at Pastikas. It was out of Grindstone. What I heard was that the people in the next boat didn't watch him measure it so the HOF wasn't going to give him the record. Whatever, doesn't matter..it was a BIG fish! Nice tiger in this post! I've only ever caught one, a 39".

The 53" hybrid is on the Indian Trail Resort muskie chart. Aren't all the muskies on this chart caught out of the Chippewa Flowage?

Yes, only fish caught in the Chip are on that chart. It was a big fish, but there's issues with the way it was measured as their ruler in the boat only went to 40".

Posts: 117 Location: Northwest Wisconsin | There were 2 reported 53" tigers caught. One out of The Chip and one out of Grindstone. The one out of Grindstone was huge. Like JKahler said there is a picture of the Grindstone tiger at Pastikas.
