I'm going to fish Mille Lacs on Monday, and wondering if the muskies have gotten going yet. Last I had heard, Mille Lacs was really slow. If you know anything about the lake picking up, what end or part of the lake? Any advice appreciated.

I'm also going to look for a few eyes as well. Will report back on Tuesday.

Thanks, Bill

Any luck, Bill? Thinking about going up there this weekend. What were the water temperatures?

I know of a 52" fish boated out of guide Bob Nelson's boat on a super top raider last week. It's starting to pick up. I'll be out Sat and will report.

I was on Mill Lac's fishing with friend Jason Hammernick, Musky Breathe Guide Service, and on Monday I caught a 36.5" fish and we both lost fish in the mid-40's. The next day I fished alone and lost a 50" class fish at the boat. I will be up all next week, maybe I will see you on the water. I have a 182 Crestliner, with a 130 rice burner (Honda) Good Luck!!

I will be fishing the big pond next weekend (19th-21st) and any help/info would be greatly appreciated. Gregg, what were you throwin'?I've been studying the maps for a long time, but am wondering about any idiosyncrasies the pond may have.

Thanks for the info, guys. But I'm also curious about general locations i.e. north end vs. south end; weeds vs. rocks. How about colors? Bright or natural? Any insights?

Thanks, Bill
