Fished the Goon 5 days last week with nothing to show but 2 nice pike. We fished 8 to1 ft. weeds cowgirls spinner baits and top water. What did we do wrong can any body help? Also fished Lac Suel one day for walleyes and kicked butt did about 1 hr of muskie fishing there with 1 follow and 1 strike. Fished Eagle for about 5 hrs. with a 50" follow on the first spot really like the looks of Eagle!

It's all about location on the Goon. Too many variables to guess why you didn't find the fish, I'm assuming the water temps were cool? Current is king, and current breaks the key at the corners of the bays if the water isn't pretty warm in the backs of the bays in the slack water. Only two nice Pike means the food and big girls were not where you were unless the bite was just plain 'off', which can happen anywhere.
