Whit65,

As of right now they will only be availble through me and Musky Armor. I am taking some down to my brother in Indianapolis sometime in early September if that helps you at all. Or if you ever get up and fish the northern Indiana lakes, I would be more than happy to meet you some place. Shoot me an e-mail or give me a call if you would like to discuss this further.

Thanks again for all your interest!

Mike, what is the length of the handle from the back of the reel seat to the butt? It might just be an optical illusion or it might be that you are using fatter than normal cork but the butt look rather short in the picture.

The butt section is 15 inches long, the foregrip is 4.75 inches long and the total length from end of butt to top of the foregrip is 25 inches. Yes it has the fatter cork.

I've never been concerned about the warranty on any rod I've purchased as long as it has one. If there's going to be any warranty issues with a rod it's very likely going to occur within the first year of use. There's always exceptions. But the length of warranty shouldn't be a big influence on whether you buy a rod or not, in my opinion. Many more important factors.

Aaron

I dunno, I can spend the same money on a shimano and get a lifetime warranty. Over the counter at thorne, long time down the road. BTDT several times and consider it to be very important. Afterall, fishing with 3 dogs in the boat means I'm going to need new rods sooner...heh...something I definitely look for and use.

If your dogs break your rods it's not a warranty issue it's an abuse issue. If your dog chews up your tires on your truck you don't take it in for warranty do you?

Broken rod is a broken rod and they give me a new one even if I say my dog snapped it. That's worth getting the shimano.

As of right now, I only have the 9 footer available. I have a few prototypes of a 8'6 but that might be out later on down the road but not for a while. Chad Cain is coming out with a 8 footer very soon as well.
