Location: Oswego, IL | I am a bit confused, I have two of these and seem like the blades are very thin, expecially compared to the normal DBL Cow, they are already changed shape by using them 1 day. Also the paint flaked in some spots. Anyone else have this issue with them at all?

Posts: 556 | ive got one but it has gold blades so they are not painted but it works fine and the blades are close or the same as my cowgirls

Posts: 115 Location: Birch Run | IMO all painted blades will chip after some use, I have had about 4 different brands and at some time there is some chipping. I don't think the fish will care LOL.

Location: Oswego, IL | I am not to worried about the paint, just mentioned that. The biggest concern was the thinkness and quality of the blade. Not impressed at all. I also know this isnt a "home made" #12 either because I bought it at a store.

Posts: 115 Location: Birch Run | Thats weird, I have only 1 Super Girl and it is alot different than a double cowgirl. I couldn't hardly keep mine in the water at first. It is also a little more difficult to cast because of length and wind resistance. I added quite of bit weight and its perfect for slow rolling, pushes tons of water.

Posts: 1030 Location: APPLETON, WI | I only have one in my arsenal. *shrug* Haven't ever caught anything with it... but I don't have any complaints as far as the bait itself.

Posts: 1243 Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | Are we talking about their Super Girl or Super Model? Reading the responses, we're clearly not all on the same page here. The Super Girl blades are the same exact blades that are used on the Double Cowgirls. The Super Models obviously have different blades as they are #13s versus the 10s on the Double Cowgirls. Posts: 115 Location: Birch Run | I mispoke I don't have a Super girl, only the super model and reg dbl cowgirls. I didn't refer to the catalog before I typed sorry , I don't know if I will be able to sleep my mistake off.

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | I ordered 3 SUPERGIRLS and had to rebuilt them, because the blades flatten out in 1 day also. I love the MARABOU TAILS but the blades are very thin and did not last. I'm glad to read about that I'm not the only one that happen to also. I spent 3X $24.99 each for the baits, and that = $74.97 on baits that I had to rebuild after 1 day of casting, not being neg just hope others read my post on M/F forum and will CK out the bait first before buyng them blindly like I did.

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | Not a bigie for me I rebuild and make most of my DCG10-13 now. All thin blades will flatten out, Now I use .40 thick blades, they will not flatten out.

Posts: 221 | Just recieved a couple Supergirls from R&H and they have .025 blades...just the same as regular CG's. I'm pretty sure I know the manufacture of Brad's blades and all the .025 blades are the same. This post kinda has me thinking though. It might have been a manufacturing defect that is effecting some specific blades. Darcy Cox

Posts: 1243 Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | I agree, Darcy. I was thinking the same thing. I know I don't throw them as hard core as many people do. But I have never had a blade flatten out on me. And I know people that throw them even more than I do that have never had them flatten out. There has to be something that's up to cause some to warp in just a day's use. As an added FYI - The Super Model blades (13s) are also the same thickness. Aaron

Posts: 221 | Just looked at my last order from you Aaron and I forgot I received one from you too! It also has the same thickness as the others. I'm out for the next 4 days and will throw them a bit I'm sure... I can't see them being any different. Darcy Cox

Location: Twin Cities | I've got a lot of 13 blades and larger from thorne and musky mayhem, never had any flatten out or even bend unless I took a pliers to them intentionally to change how they run.
