I posted this on the regular board and was surprised (so far) at the lack of response to it, so I thought I would put it here also. Considering the amount of lures most Musky guys have, I would think it a hot topic.

I recently bought some custom-painted lures from Durst Products and haven't been able to use them yet due to an operation on my leg. They are very flashy and look very different from other lures. Yes, I know that lures catch lots of fisherman. However, my lake is fished very heavily and I thought by changing the look of my lures (I purchased new lures painted by Durst along with getting his company to repaint some of my old ones.) I would think the different look and flashiness of the lures would help liven things up a bit. What's your opinion and do you guys/gals use custom-painted lures? Thanks []

If your not catching more, at least you're looking better while not catching them. [] Nice to look at, but I really don't think the fish cares that much.
