| i fish a small action lake that's full of smaller muskies(not many over 40") and i fish by myself most of the time. and this year i've already lost a couple of fish right at the net. my problem im having is my musky net is too big to handle in one hand while holding a rod with a musky attached in the other hand. my question is would i have a problem netting the smaller muskies with my pike net(its a beckman with a 26" hoop and 39" deep fin-saver net bag) i dont want to risk hurting the fish but i dont want to keep losing fish either. any other suggestions? |

| it takes practice !!!lets just say you have to fight them a little longer and then you flip your net handle up w/ your foot and make sure your fish is close to the boat then lower the net in the water and bring the fish in the net instead of taking the net to the fish .us the net like a folkrum and put its head in first .that is my best play by play results .oh yea keep your line tight !!GOOD LUCK! |
