Guys,
I just got off the water ,because I was soked to the bone..... Air temps were 50-52* for our high. water temps were 63-64* and dropping.....
The muskie bite is REALLY behind up here, mostly still a weed bite as far as I can tell.
Got 2 small muskies to the boat (maybe 35") and lost a 42" on the "outside" of the net fishing by myself...... got about 15 pike up to 35" so I did have a bit of action...... We need some HOT weather to get things going.
Oh, someone got a 51" the other day.

Nice weather they had up there on Saturday! Kinda liked fishing in the rain, wind, and cold for most of the day. Had the lake pretty much to myself! Spent 13 hours up there Saturday scouting/fishing the West side of the lake. Warmest water temp I saw was 67, most were in the 64-65 range. Found tons of weeds on the West side, much more than I expected. Caught 8-10 pike, had a smallie follow, a walleye follow, and two muskie (38, 42) follows once the sun peaked out around 4pm. The pike were smoking a soft tail phantom, the muskies and walleye and smallie followed on blades. Not necessarily on twin tens, though. Talked to a few people on the lake, heard a lot of the same. One boat was a couple locals. They said it's been a really slow start up there as far as big fish but they've been doing alright on smaller ones. Biggest they've caught was a 46".

Not much more to report. Hope they get some 90 degree weather soon!
