With all the talk about power reels, etc., just what line is best?

I'm thinking about using Cortland Master Braid 80 lb - white.
Is there any advantage of using white line?

Just wondering what others are using with the power reels.

thanks,

Bob,

You'll get alot of suggestions here but in my opinion 80# is plenty.
I too use Cortland Masterbraid but in the bronzeback variety. I'm not to keen on white line.
Power pro and Tuff line will get alot of support as well they're great lines too.

Good Luck

"Is there any advantage of using white line?"

I don't think that there is an advantage to using white line but I also don't think that it's a disadvantage. I believe line color is way over rated.
