| I am searching for some really good detail eyes to put in a few baits I am working on. I have found the ones that most "big name" companies use...but I am looking for something more detailed...something with more depth to them. Has anybody ever found or used anything that really looks good and has great detail? Just need help finding some. Thanks for your time. |

Location: Verona, WI | I went to a local taxidermist shop and bought some fish eyes that they use for mounting fish - that would be where I would go.

You da man.
I tried those but had problems with them floating off with the clear coat. But they look really nice. |

| I have seen those and wasn't really impressed. Want something more along the lines of a glass eye or something, just just a flat surface. Any other advice??? |

These are going to be a bit more pricey as they're taxidermy eyes; but it sounds more like what you're looking for. http://www.taxidermyarts.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=25_37
My dad is a taxidermist so when I talk to him next, I'll ask where he gets his fish eyes from.
