Posts: 1286 Location: WI | it was too windy. Again. Water temp @ the launch was 61, it was 74 a month ago. I go back to work tomorrow evening so unless it dies down tonight or tomorrow morning it looks like another blown weekend. Frustrating.

Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | Try being up in Canada for a whole week in hopes of fishing Wabigoon for big musky, but 30+ mph wind became a daily occurance and kept you off the big water. Now that is frustrating. Water temps were 72 or so a week or two ago, and dropped to 52 in a matter of days.

Posts: 171 | Just got back from Canada....near Sioux Lookout. Moved a few muskies and a few were caught by others, I caught a small Tiger, but I did come up with a 39" pike that had a huge girth. Good thing my wife likes fishing in rain, wind and 47F high temps......what a great trip! ErieBoy75

Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | 104, sunny and calm here today. I wouldn't mind a bit of 60 degree temps. On the other hand, my tomatoes are kicking butt (as long as I keep pouring water on them)! S.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Yeah, pretty windy and cold today. My buddy that fished with me today was glad I had some extra clothes in the boat! Still, if the water you fish is small enough or protected enough to get out, fish can be caught. We caught one today and lost another about 5 minutes later. Seems like really short feeding windows this year, but they still have to eat sometime. curleytail Edited by curleytail 7/18/2009 11:35 PM
