Has anyone had any luck at either one this year?

I was at Sever in the AM and it was a milkshake at the north end. The entire lake had a brown tint throughout. Threw bucktails of all color combos and did not see anything.

Went to Hazel Creek earlier in the year and plan on going next weekend or the following weekend. Has anyone been there in the last couple of weeks?

Dave.

I imagine Hazel Creek is pretty hot right now. I fished it once earlier this year with nothing to show for it. Never fished Henry Sever. Rogiecrockett, have done well at either in the past?

Had one on at Sever earlier this year but lost it. Very murky at that time.

Both lakes must have water temperatures up into the eighties by now. I encourage you to wait until Spetember to fish again for muskies as the mortality rate is generally high on released fish this time of the year.
