After loosing my DCG earlier this summer, I had picked up one of Joe Bucher's double mag tinsel and just got a decent musky on it. I plan on picking up a couple more double bladed tinsel bucktails, I really like how they flare in the water. The double tens are taking over the musky world maybe because of a specific vibration they create. I'm wondering if you guys have had just as good or better experience with smaller and bigger double blades?

I'm looking at a number of double bladed bucktails - what are your favorites and size of blade.

Also looking at the willobeast or bou bling, those just look great to me...

I've had good luck with double 8 blades, but I throw them more than the 10's. I like the Rabid Squirrel dlb 8's.

I've been burning dbl showgirls the last month with very decent results.. Black and nickel and chart blades and chart and black flash have been my 2 colors. I like how easy they are to fish compared to dbl 10s but i don't think they are going to catch near the number of fish that the dbl 10s will and the size of fish. Also, just picked up a dbl 8 cowgirl jr to try so once i get it i'll be chunking it and trying it for sure.

ive been having alot of luck with single 10's/8's with flash- 3 on each, well differnt colors but same baits. well here in wis-with the late winter-ish the smaller bucktails have been doing better than the big ones-

Try Spanky Baits! Make them how you want them!

Has anyone tried the Figure 8 Double 13.

I plan on getting a double 8 rabid squirrel, double 10 joe bucher mag tinsel, llungen dc 10, and was thinking of the double 13 to have a variety of sizes. Would 13 be way too hard to reel in with my Induron 400? Maybe should just go with the DC 11.. or a #12.. Has anyone have good experience with bigger blades or is #10 the go to?
