What type of leader do you use when you throw a weagle?

Many people choose to use wire leaders when using the Weagle, saying that they can get the bait to work better this way. I've been using a 130# Stealth fluoro leader with them and have been able to get the same action out of them as I would with wire. I would try both and see which you like better.

I personally prefer to use solid wire leaders with my WTD lures. They seem to run better to me.

I am with AWH I use the 130lb flour leader from Stealth and I really see no difference.

I actually used two leaders with my weagle yesterday....130# stealth and an 8" single strand. (i've used both these leaders in the past also with this lure). The bait works 'good' with the flouro leader. It walks good and makes a good 'sploosh' sound. With the single strand, the bait also walks good/great, but I believe you can get it to make 'more than the 'swoosh'. The bait seems to react 'quicker' and and 'back-side' will swing with more power and speed (quicker response). Just my opinion and what i've noticed the short time i've used them.

STEALTH TACKLE is clearly the WEAGLE leader!
