| Headin north of the border Fri. for a 10 day battle royal just wondering if any one has any idea what the surface temps are and hopefully the big girls have set up on the rocks it will be nice not to remove weeds from my baits every cast |

Location: North Saint Paul, MN | I was just up on Sabaskong for the Muskie opener from 6-19 to 6-24. We were seeing water temps around 68-69 in the main channels and 70-74 in the bays. Most of the fish we saw were in the weeds. |

| Thanks for the info as i am sure conditions and location of fish will change considerably in the coming days it is always fun putting the puzzle togeather on such a spectacular body of water |

| fished sabaskong for the opener...saw lots of big fish the first 2 days then comletely died....spinnerbaits,topwater,jerkbaits saw most of our fish. All the eaters came on rocks with weagles in the early morning in the camp we were at. Water temps were 75 in the back bays... |

Location: Victoria,MN | We will be on our way in 6 hours for 9 days of pure torture on Sab.
The hardest part of the trip is coming back to the rat rsce.
it's amazing that at 4:00 this morning I had all I could do to keep my eyes open on the way to work , and now at 10:40 p.m. I'm trying to beer myself to sllep!
