Location: Chicago | trying to plan the fall trip. have been going to LOTW (various locations) for the past couple of years and eagle some years back. Did a little better on LOTW (probably luck) so i've been going back there. trying to decide where to go, looking for input. i've been to eagle a few times in the temple bay & stanton island areas, but not the vermillion bay area yet. been to the sabeskong, crow rock and ash rapids area on LOTW and fished the big narrows a little bit from crow rock. done ok in each area but none really stand out compared to the others. so i'm leaning towards the big narrows because i like the area but didn't get a chance to fish it that much as we were not that close to it or going back to eagle lake...not sure on the area for eagle. any thoughts, suggestions? probably be going late september, early october. are there any drive in lodges to the big narrows area? I can't seem to find any and don't want to boat in. thanks. |
