| I just got back from our annual fishing trip to lake athabasca in northern Saskatchewan. My buddies & I have been chasing after a 30lb pike for 15 years. My dream finally materalized. She weighed 32lbs & measured 49" long by 21.75" girth. She hit a lucky craft pointer 100 series bass plug. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. I feel very lucky. | I agree with Hawkeye! I post frequently about pike and am amazed at the responses I get. I'm not looking for hammerhandles...I want ones like that!!!! Steve | |||

Posts: 1769 Location: Algonquin, ILL | I think that most folks who do look down at Pike is because they usually get the 18-34 inch class fish, I got my PB last year a nice 43 incher and I can tell you that once Pike reach this size and beyond they are totally different animals so don't knock big pike until you get one.
