I am happy to see them use my "old" harness design from last year Funny thing is, I am not using that design anymore on my Generation III SuperDs. I am now using a full body coil design with multiple weld points. It really helps on the MegaDs too. The two coil design was not sufficient for a big lure above 8oz so I beefed her up. Also, you got to stay ahead in this game!!! lol

James

Here is the new harness.

Yep, I saw that harness in the color ad in Rollies catalogue. That thing must hold those bodies on the harness rock solid! MI might have gone with the full coil too, but you probably hadn't had it out in time for them to see that idea. I shouldn't say too much bad about them - I bought a couple Dawgs this year to see if they are as good as everyone has been making them sound.

The Dawgs look good enough to not be considered a rip off, but I have a feeling I'm still going to reeaalllyyy like the new generation of Super Ds. Sounds like they should really hold up well and the price is unbeatable.

On the other end of the spectrum...here are my new 1.75oz MiniDs that will be ready to go around June too. I did these in more baitfish colors and also used a heavy black nickle saltwater treble hook for the Striper Bass guys but I think the pike and musky guys will like them too. These little 6" models also have the coil harness in them. Sorry for the messy picture. This was my notes picture for prototypes.

I'd like to see chartreuse body w/silver glitter and white belly or clown (red head, chartreuse back, white belly w/silver glitter).

Hey James.. Are the new Mega and Mini colors options going to be available in the Reg & Mag sizes also? As h2o said these new colors are sick!

The MiniDs are various baitfish colors with a few of the more poular musky/pike colors (shown above). The Regular, Mag and MegaD colors (42 total) will all be available in every size in June.

If any of my MiniD baitfish colros get real popular I may add tehm to the rest of the SuperD line(s) later. My main issue right now is space for inventory. I just moved up to a 4000 sq/ft facility plus my basement and my garage. Getting a little tight for the kids toys now.

Thanks!
James

James, I know you probably don't want to hear this right now... (due to working on getting new baits out and having limited space) but there are a handful of the MiniD colors I would LOVE to see in the Mag and MegaD sizes.

July 1 right now. Had a packaging problem that threw me back 2 weeks. Hate changing anything but some retail stores wanted batter packaging vs the bag and label I had. Don't worry, I ate the extra cost out of my end for the new packaging I had a few in Canada last week and the MegaDs look and work real nice. Weather did not cooperate so no monster pics for you this time...
