I have the same one as russ and It works just fine! Just remember to put alittle foam around the Mic for windy days!

How long were you able to record on yours before the battery is dead or memory is full? Thanks Russ

Yes, we have one. Good camera for the money but the sound isn't worth a hoot. If your just looking to record the action, this would be the camera you'd want, just don't expect sound.
