| After hearing some of the rumors about the fly problem in Eagle River I was wodering what other Bizzare or Funny rumors you have heard, here's one I heard last year
The Wisc. DNR stocked millions of suckers into the Chip Flowage as a food source for Muskies in an effort to Grow a new world record and bring muskie fishermen back into the area but the muskies are so full from eating suckers that they are not hitting other baits and that is why the Muskie fishing on the Chip has been so poor.

| Makes sense to me....stocking suckers to "entice" suckers...makes perfect sense to me! The world is full of suckers...I too am a sucker; hence the reason I am broke + have a house full of non essential "stuff", it started w/ the Popiel Pocket Fisherman + every Ronco only $19.95 items I can find...I am now a "smarter" sucker, but a sucker nontheless.....[:blackeye:] |

The rumor about the flies was that the Wis. DNR released a ton of these annoying pests to eat the tent catapillers.. or their eggs.. something along those lines. |
