my minn kota tm (V2 70#) has propeller vibration. Has anyone had this problem and did swapping the propeller for a new one fix it? Propeller shaft is straight. It vibrates a lot over 40% speed - my previous tm did not.
Thanks

I had the same problem, new prop should fix it.

I use a Kipawa prop on my Minn Kota and it helps tremendously with vibration and the abrupt jerking when first spinning up. Much much smoother operation although there is a cost of third blade which is obviously increased friction in the water causing a nominal amount of additional voltage.

Thanks guys. I am trying a new prop next week. I pondered the kipawa idea but I was afraid it might harm my motor in the long term.

I have only had this happen when the pin gets bent. I always have a couple of spare pins available.

By pin do you mean the small pin that sticks thru the motor shaft that keeps the prop from slipping when thrust is applied? It is straight. Thanks.
