A note to fishermen going to the Sabaskon Bay area. Mylie's Place is now selling Premium gas. No ethanol or oxygenated fuel. Price on Wednesday was $1.15 a liter. Good price for Canada. They also now have a very good stock of groceries. Milk, bread, eggs, potatoes, hot dogs, roasts, etc. They can also get steaks etc. with a short notice. This should help out now that the Morson store is closed.

They closed it the end of Jan. No liquor in Morson. That you will have to bring with you.

Red Wing sells licenses.

Bummer about that store closing---a drive over there makes a nice mid-day diversion.

Am thinking about Milie's place for my 2010 trip----seem like nice folks with good facilities at a fair price.

You can also get your license at (I believe) Happy landing...just up the road and to the right from where you would turn to go to red wing lodge.

It is a surprise to hear the only store in Morson closed..... For being a general convenience store for the most part with groceries, other items etc....

Sorry to hear that the "Mall of Morson" has closed. That was our favorite little joke. Where else could you buy a case of beer, a suick, groceries, souviners, a stove vent. and roofing nails under one roof? Good luck trying to find those items at the Mall of America!! I wonder how many T-shirts I've bought there over the years?

You should be able to get your fishing license online now for Ontario.
