Subject: rod holders - storage on a boat

Hi all:

I am looking to put rod holders on my boat and I was wondering if anyone has any suggesstions? the rod holders are for storage, not for trolling and i want to keep them off the ground where the rod tips might get snapped off. If you have any pictures on how you do this on your boat(s) that would be greatly appreciated, I might have to custom make one and i'm not sure either on where to position them on my boat. for example, in the back of the boat, up front by the wind shield, etc etc etc. pictures would be greatly appreciated too!!!!!

thanks to all for posting!

Check out Gander Mtn and Dicks.
They both have a plastic Berkley stand up storage rod holder.
I believe Gander has a stainless one as well.
