My unit had been functioning just fine, but yesterday out on the water it would cut out when I got on full throttle. Upon slowing down it would immediately turn back on and work just fine, or work fine at slower speed. Any ideas whats wrong?

Just a shot in the dark but maybe vibration at a certain rpm/speed is just right to bug a bad connector or connection. Maybe a simple as checking all your plugs into the unit and the wire to your transducer and power source. I know that I've had plugs in the back of my head unit come loose after long runs in big seas. Good luck hopefully it's something minor.

Would it turn back on by itelf or did you have to push power? 9 times out of 10 what you describe is a power issue, usually at the battery. I went through it a number of times, and just helped a friend with the same issue. If your unit comes back to life on its' own however, I am not sure what the problem may be.
