Subject: LOTW Sabaskong Bay Opener

Going up there for 4 days for opener with my dad and a couple buddies. Anybody have the water temps there? I have fished LOTW before but never this early so I want to do some planning to get a gameplan for opener so we can go from there.

Anyone else heading to Ontario for some musky opener action?

Hey Zak,

See "ontario opener" thread for Sabaskong water temps. We had 57 at the dock today, but that's the back of a bay in shallower water.

Haven't heard anyone report more than 55 in the main basins yet.

I will see you there. Water temps will likely be like last year, 64-69 in the bays and 61-64 main lake. Focus on the outsides of spawning bays and the first rock elements outside of those bays, you'll do fine.
