| Hey guys i'm gonna get a few new dawgs soon and cant make up my mind on all the color choices. what do you think?

Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | It depends so much on what body of water you fish, forage, clarity, etc. But some of the colors that I have caught fish on all the water I guide are:
3. Creamsicle
2. Black
1. Walleye
Sherbert coming in a close 4th. But all of these colors are awesome basic patterns. Can't go wrong with walleye. |

Location: Medford, WI | Definitely Black, White, and Walleye for moderate to clear bodies of water. I don't fish many dark stained or murky waters, but we've had luck on the brown and orange (the dark orange if you can get it).

Location: Land of the Musky | More wild the better IMO. However, my best color for pike in a Bulldawg has been a glow white/black. They ripped it up and if they miss it they come back for more until they do. I have not see that as much with some of the other colors I have used in the past.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | If you are only going to buy a few I would base those on the color lures you normally throw and have confidence in. All the colors catch fish but without knowing more about your water it's hard to suggest a few colors. Colors I've caught fish on are: Black, Black/Org, Black/Glow, Black/Silver, Cisco, Pearl, Glow, Sherbert, Fire, Perch, Gold tail sucker, Natural Sucker, Walleye, Walleye/White, Walleye/Orange, Holo Walleye, Superman, Purple... I'm probably missing some. |

| ya ill be fishing everything from stained river water to gin clear lakes. Does black seem to work well in most water situations or do you prefer a more visible color in stained water? |

| I would get a walleye, then another walleye for when that one gets eaten or when you lose a tail. I keep several on hand, pounders and mags. If you are in stained dark water, I use a walleye that I have completely dyed chartruese with rubber worm dye, and it works the bomb. Especially in pounder sizes. I also like the mag dawgs in silver flakes with blue, and I dye those up with chartruese dye too, and they turn green and sparkly into what I call, incredible hulk color. Those work good too, ask Tomkat, lol. |

Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | Walleye / orange has bee an awesome color the last several seasons. I also agree with using worm dye on walleye dawgs. you can make some pretty sick combinations. Taking the white dawg and using the black spike it marker you can make an insane cisco pattern. |
