Looks like I have to miss the MN walleye opener and head to Iowa for the weekend. We're staying close to Clear Lake which has muskies according to the Iowa DNR site. Is it even worth bringing my boat down for a day of fishing?

Yeah there's some fish in there and a few good ones. My advise is to bring small cranks and spinnerbaits. Trolling a spread around town or by the fake weeds further west can get you some fish. They should be done with the spawn so I'd imagine the bigger fish will be in the middle eating yellow bass.
