I recently had a new laocator 141c Humminbird, and when i turn it on it will read the air temp, but when I get it in the water will it read the water temp or the air temp? Thanks for your patience.

It will read the water temperature.

The thermometer is in the transducer, so as long as your transducer is in the water it will read the water temp.
