Has anyone ever had a problem with SS Shad lips breaking...I had one that I have had for 2 years and never had a problem, ran great, saw a bunch of fish on it; its a great shallow water presentation bait...then this past weekend I made a cast with it that happened to go over a dock a mear 10 minutes into the morning, reeled up to the edge of the dock and flipped the bait back over only to find out that the lip broke off right at the bait...I was so bummed, I loved the bait...anyone have any ideas about what to do...thanks...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you broke the lip by ramming it into a dock after overcasting it... That's operator error and nothing you can do about it except 1) learn from your mistake and 2) buy a new one (or buy a replacement lip). I don't think you should expect Kyle/Smoker Tackle to do anything about that.

As much as I love some of my lures I purchase and/or make every lure with the same mindset. I will eventually lose this or break this. Doesn't sting as bad when it actually happens.
