I received confirmation this morning that the Governor has indeed signed this into law!

A special thank you to Mr. Fred Brogle, and everyone that worked so hard to get this done. As Wisconsin residents we owe Fred and all these folks, one huge collective THANK YOU! I will also add that I've gained some respect for the Dan Meyer, given his willingness to work with Fred and everyone else working so hard to get this legislation reversed. To err is human, but to acknowledge one's mistake and work to correct it, defines us.

What does this mean exactly? I need an interpretation of the new bill.

It means "status quo". Things are the way they have been. Muskie season opens the Saturday before memorial day w/ no early C&R season before then.

Good to see the Gov. do at least something right.
