How much do the new ones actually weigh? I see different numbers everywhere I look and unless these things are on Oprah's latest yo yo diet somebody has to be wrong.

I've put a few of them on my postal scale in the past and they have all came in at around 8 ounces. I know that MI has them listed at 6 ounces on their website. But they are definitely heavier than that. They do, however, differ from one to the next. When I saw your post I put a number of them that I have in front of me on the scale (still in the packaging and I don't know how much the packaging weighs) and there's as much as 1 ounce difference on some of them. (9.5 to 10.5 oz. packaged) Unless it was just by pure coincidence, it appears that it depends on the color. Perhaps some plastisol is heavier than others? I'm sure someone that knows a thing or two about this material will be able to chime in with more information and why the difference.
