I just ordered a cowdussa from Aaron at MTO! Does anybody have any experience with these things? Whats the word on them?

It looks amazing in the water. Has a faster sink rate than the other big rubbers I've thrown. Awesome new bait!

My question is about the Cow-Dussa. Has it inspired attaching anything to the back of double tens or what? I bet the Cowdussa is a sweet bait, maybe even sweeter than the Medussa itself. Instead of buying a Cowdussa though, I'm going Dr. frankenstein on my lakewood and creating several Cow-hybrids and trying them out for kicks. For instance, I bet a set of no. ten blades would look sweet in front of a Big Joe, no? Of course, it might not be as amazing as a CowDussa, but what the heck? I realize so and so was making twin blades that clicked onto the front of any bait, and whap, you've got double tens! Nice product too- but I'm talking about deconstructing a Cow girl or Dc-10 and attaching a split ring and then adding the bait of your choice! What would you have to do to make the blad spins on two back-to-back DC-10s?

I started running blades on dawgs a couple years ago, as well as experimenting on other baits.

They had these at the Milwaukee Show almost picked one up but went with a Tidal Wave instead.

I threw one a bit last season. It wasn't the model that is for sale now. It was a Medusa I "borrowed" and a set of old DCG blades I used on shallow dawgs. It was really cool when it was burned like a bucktail, and had an interesting action when jerked however I liked it a lot better without the blades when used that way.

Bottom line, the Cowdusa is a cool bait. It isn't a daily staple lure, but it could prove valuable when the muskies are doing a lot of non-committal following. Check it out!

Cowdussa seems like it would be a killer bait for some late fall slow-rolling or summer deep weedline fishing.
