Posts: 547 Location: Oshkosh | I have a Toro and I love it. I got to use one with a guide last year and it is very nice to cast with a low profile reel if you are a palmer. Super smooth, casts a mile, comes with a power handle, and if you consider that you get a free pair of $130 sunglasses with it, it is actually cheaper the the Isis! Peter

I haven't ever used an Isis, but I do have a Revo 60 and I'm very pleased thus far. It is lightweight, casts very well, two choices of handles, and mine came with a $200+ rod for buying it. I've tested it throwing a variety of baits and I'm looking forward to a full season with it.

Posts: 75 Location: Aurora, IL. | Cant speak on the Isis cause I havent used one, but I have beat the hell out of two Toro 60's this year and so far so good. Only annoying thing so far is when you really launch a bait the level wind screams bloody murder. Tried oiling it on the water and still makes that sound. I'm used to the Shimano reels like the Curado 300 dsv and 400 series reels and they are much quiter on the cast. Overall the reel is solid as a rock. So far. Just my two cents. Joe

Posts: 547 Location: Oshkosh | The Curado 300 is quieter on the cast because it doesnt have a synchronized level wind, which is the only thing I don't like about my 300, but it still casts a mile. Peter

Posts: 692 Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | I had two red Isis reels and sold them both - I hope you don't thumb your fish? Because the slightest bit of tension on it, the button release cannot be depressed. Go Revo or Curado.
