Location: lake st clair michigan | i use a thin coat of e-tex, then prime and paint ,then 2 more coats of e-tex ........also did a natural finish with etex only...... that turned out real sweet looking |

Have you ever tried Cherry? It has a similar density.

Location: Victoria,MN | I'll try both sanding sealer and the thinned e-tex.
This brings to mind one more ?,and that's primer/paint compatibility over these sealants. I would think Krylon spray for a primer would form a good bond over the E-tex not sure about over the sanding sealer though.
And how well does Createx bond over the primer.
Enough hi-jacking for now, Any info is appreciated.
Seeking 54- no I have not tried cherry as I think I have a good price on the mahogany so I'll stick with that. But I'd imagine its nicer to work with! |

| lacquer sanding sealer seals pores and can be painted in 1 hour. i have never had a paint adhesion issue yet. |
