Can a muskie see one or the other better, which might cause fewer figure eight fish?

My 620 has a black bottom and I tend to think that if it was white it would help me more than hurt. If I ordered the boat new I would order white or a gray if possible. My 2 cents.

White, so when the muskie misses and scrapes up the bottom you can Marine Tex it w/o colormatching [:sun:]

| My boat has a pewter colored bottom, I really don't think that boat color would make much of a difference Just my opinion.
A Glass bottom would be cool[8)]

White bottom boats make the rockin world go round......[::)]

Muskie Treats from everyone I talk to white is the worst color to try and match, because there are so many shades that are just a little bit different.

My boat got re-painted last year with a white bottom, and since then I have caught 0 fish on a figure 8. Prior to the new paint (which the bottom was a darker cream color) I would average 2 to 4 fish a year caught on the 8.

Black is the easiest to match, but who cares if it's on the bottom of your boat.
