Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | I'm taking Jazzy (13) & X-Man (10) with me on the anuual Zalt trophy walley/pike hunt this June in NW Ontario. I want them to be able to stay comfortable in the rain, etc. I don't think the standard kid's rubber raincoats, ponchos' etc. will do the job.
Any help/recommendations as to sources for quality kid's rain gear is greatly appreciated.
Have fun!

| Al,
My boys are now 18 & 21. Both wore Cabelas packable raingear till they out grew it. Couple sizes too big alowed extra clothes underneath. It isn't too bad for $ and I passed it down until they got into adult sizes.

| Check out NRS's kids Kayaking gear. I use there rain gear myself and have fished in hard rain for most of the day and stay bone dry. www.nrsweb.com |

| My boys - 11 and 12 - ski almost every day all winter. They use their Snowboarding/ski pants with the shell from their ski jackets for summer rain gear. Goretex and they can use them year round. North Face HyVent unlined pants will outlast 3 sets of Columbias. I do the opposite, I ski in my fishing pants. |
