here is the question that I have. I went to the pubic launch at Kuhn today and saw NO SIGNS!!!! How in the HECK would one know that the lake is closed????
Good thing I didnt come here from another state or long drive.
I wish I was out there and they stopped me I would have a few good words for them.

just a thought....i know everyone is chomping at the bit to get out there this year, but maybe please take into consideration with the high water that peoples homes and cottages are damaged enough already. if the water is still high and in peoples homes, im sure the more boats out there and the more water moving from wakes etc, wont be doing these peoples homes any favors.

Guest...you obviously knew there were restrictions on the lake as did most people. Were there any other truck/trailers at the launch? A simple phone call to the DNR would answer any questions you may have.

On the other hand...I did call the DNR yesterday and asked the same question and they said that they had posted it and that someone must have taken it down.

my understanding is that there is no natural reproduction there. if so, would fishing "spawning" fish be a problem?!
