Location: Ogden, Ut | I don't normally do very good until the water warms to 50F or more. I've never fished pure strain in the spring so I can't compare and contrast, but I wouldn't do a whole lot different I suppose. Pretend you're fishing pike and you'll probably do just fine.
J-13 Rapalas, Size 14 Husky Jerks, Mepps Muskie Killers, small Violent Strike spinnerbaits, and Baby Wabulls have all been pretty good. I used to fish spoons more than I do now, and they seemed to work pretty good...might have to revisit that myself.

| Question for Utah tiger master:
If the red and white color combination works for pike, might it work for tiger muskies as well? Have you ever tried this? Had success? |

Since Pointerpride is obviously busy, I'll field this one...
It's not one of my 'go to' color combos, but I have had it work. I like perch and browns best, but have caught fish on most colors at one time or another.
